How our poison-free mole trapping service works

  1. Tell us about the activity. Contact Mak and Maleah with your address, fresh-activity photos and property history.
  2. Locate active tunnels. We examine the property and identify the runs the moles are using.
  3. Install targeted mole traps. We place equipment in the agreed service area with precautions suited to the property.
  4. Return weekly. We inspect the property, check traps and adjust placements as activity changes.
  5. Confirm the result. Following a catch, we monitor for seven consecutive days without new mole activity before removing equipment.
  6. Follow through under the guarantee. If the covered active problem takes longer than 30 days, we continue at no additional service charge until it is resolved, subject to the service terms.

Tell us about pets, children, irrigation, locked gates and other access restrictions before setup so equipment can be placed with appropriate precautions. Leave installed equipment undisturbed and keep children and pets away from it.

Your guide to getting rid of moles in Carlton

Tell us whether fresh activity is in the house lawn, beside a drainage strip or near recently disturbed ground. We will explain the service and follow-up personally. Moles Gone in 30 Days is the primary choice for resolving a current active problem with weekly follow-up and a result-based guarantee. Mole Dominator is the alternative for ongoing or recurring episodes. The local guidance below helps you describe your own property; Mak and Maleah confirm the affected area and service choice with you before you agree to work.

Understand your local property

Follow the lawn edge, not an assumed drainage pattern

Carlton's drainage planning distinguishes western runoff toward the North Yamhill River from eastern runoff toward a Hawn Creek tributary. It also describes roadside swales that are not continuous across every property. That makes a wide photograph especially helpful when a fresh mound lies between a driveway, the lawn and a shallow roadside channel.

Show which surface you mow and where water normally passes. Do not fill a low strip simply to make the service area look level. We can discuss activity on the maintained ground while leaving drainage function intact. The citywide description is context for those questions, not proof that a particular lawn drains in a given direction.

Practical homeowner tips

A grassy basin may have its own maintenance instructions

The city publishes a maintenance-agreement form for private stormwater detention facilities. A basin can be privately owned and still have a recorded access or maintenance arrangement. If your affected grass lies in such a feature, the relevant landscape or drainage plan is more useful than treating it as an unrestricted extension of the back lawn.

Ask the responsible owner or manager to identify the service boundary and access. Share the relevant instructions before equipment is placed. This does not mean every Carlton yard contains a detention facility; it means a known facility should be identified rather than overlooked. Mole control and stormwater-facility maintenance are different tasks.

Local details that matter

Separate excavation from fresh animal activity

Carlton's Grant/Main project record documents soil excavation, utility work and limited work on private property with owner permission. Where your own yard has recently been disturbed, tell us what was dug and when. The project record does not establish that every nearby mound comes from construction, or that construction caused a mole problem.

A sequence of dated photos can distinguish existing spoil from newly appearing disturbance. Include a view beyond the mound so Mak and Maleah can understand the context. Describe the property's actual recurrence history before choosing a plan: MG30 resolves a current problem, while Mole Dominator is an alternative when separate problems keep returning. Street works alone do not justify ongoing coverage.

Residential lawns and managed grounds

Gopher control is a free add-on to any Oregon mole service. Tell us about plant damage as well as mounds so we can discuss the right problem. For HOA grounds, rental communities, schools or business landscapes, commercial mole control is scoped separately. We confirm the exact address and maintained area before recommending service.

Carlton property questions

What happens after I send the property form?

Your inquiry goes to Mak and Maleah. We discuss the address, current activity, property size and access, confirm availability and explain the service scope and terms before you decide.

What if the active problem takes longer than 30 days?

Under MG30, we continue at no additional service charge until it is resolved. After a catch, seven consecutive days without new activity confirm resolution before equipment removal. Seven days of free callback coverage follow removal, with a 90-day discounted return-service period afterward.

Do I have to choose an ongoing agreement?

No. MG30 addresses the current active problem. Mole Dominator is a separate choice for ongoing or recurring problems. Review its startup and agreement options before choosing; it is not a required follow-on purchase.

Can mole service include a private detention basin?

Identify the owner, maintenance agreement and permitted scope first. We do not assume every planted facility is ordinary residential lawn.

Should I level the roadside swale before the visit?

Leave its drainage shape intact and show the activity in photographs.

Does excavation prove the new pile is not a mole mound?

No. Share dates and pictures of both the work and subsequent disturbance so the actual activity can be discussed.
