How our poison-free mole trapping service works

  1. Tell us about the activity. Contact Mak and Maleah with your address, fresh-activity photos and property history.
  2. Locate active tunnels. We examine the property and identify the runs the moles are using.
  3. Install targeted mole traps. We place equipment in the agreed service area with precautions suited to the property.
  4. Return weekly. We inspect the property, check traps and adjust placements as activity changes.
  5. Confirm the result. Following a catch, we monitor for seven consecutive days without new mole activity before removing equipment.
  6. Follow through under the guarantee. If the covered active problem takes longer than 30 days, we continue at no additional service charge until it is resolved, subject to the service terms.

Tell us about pets, children, irrigation, locked gates and other access restrictions before setup so equipment can be placed with appropriate precautions. Leave installed equipment undisturbed and keep children and pets away from it.

Your guide to getting rid of moles in West Linn

Tell us where new activity appears, which ground you maintain and how to reach it. Choose current-problem resolution or ongoing help based on the property’s history. Moles Gone in 30 Days is the primary choice for resolving a current active problem with weekly follow-up and a result-based guarantee. Mole Dominator is the alternative for ongoing or recurring episodes. The local guidance below helps you describe your own property; Mak and Maleah confirm the affected area and service choice with you before you agree to work.

Understand your local property

In an established yard, show what you want kept intact

West Linn’s Willamette Historic District preserves a concentration of late-nineteenth- and early-twentieth-century residential architecture. For an older property, your quote request can also show the garden layout you value: a narrow border beside a porch, a lawn separated by paths or a planted edge next to masonry. The age of the house does not tell us where utilities or mole activity lie.

Photograph fresh soil with those fixed features in view. Explain which gates open into the affected ground and whether other work is scheduled. Mole service should be planned around the maintained landscape; we are not proposing alterations to a historic building, path or retaining structure as a way of reaching the active problem.

Practical homeowner tips

Rocky natural ground is different from a maintained lawn

The Nature Conservancy describes basalt bedrock, camas and oak habitat at Camassia Natural Area. That is a real local landscape, but it is not a soil diagnosis for your entire lot. If your own garden has exposed rock beside a pocket of turf, show us both in one photograph rather than assuming visible ridges continue through the rock.

Leave public natural-area ground and established habitat undisturbed. We discuss service on the private, authorized area where current activity is visible. Nearby habitat can be part of the context you share, but the presence of an oak or rocky edge does not prove that ongoing Mole Dominator service is necessary. Dates of repeated activity provide a more useful basis for that choice.

Local details that matter

Use a simple property sketch when the ground changes level

West Linn makes contour, water-resource and natural-hazard maps available through its mapping resources. If your parcel changes level or meets a mapped corridor, use the information to describe the site accurately. A sketch showing the house, affected lawn, steps and access gate is often enough for the first conversation; send an existing site plan if it is clearer.

Treat unexplained subsidence, failing walls or significant erosion as separate concerns. We can address the mole-control request without claiming to determine slope stability from a photograph. For weekly visits, tell us which entrance remains usable in wet weather and whether a landscape contractor works in the same area. Those practical details help keep the resolution process consistent.

Residential lawns and managed grounds

Gopher control is a free add-on to any Oregon mole service. Tell us about plant damage as well as mounds so we can discuss the right problem. For HOA grounds, rental communities, schools or business landscapes, commercial mole control is scoped separately. We confirm the exact address and maintained area before recommending service.

West Linn property questions

What happens after I send the property form?

Your inquiry goes to Mak and Maleah. We discuss the address, current activity, property size and access, confirm availability and explain the service scope and terms before you decide.

What if the active problem takes longer than 30 days?

Under MG30, we continue at no additional service charge until it is resolved. After a catch, seven consecutive days without new activity confirm resolution before equipment removal. Seven days of free callback coverage follow removal, with a 90-day discounted return-service period afterward.

Do I have to choose an ongoing agreement?

No. MG30 addresses the current active problem. Mole Dominator is a separate choice for ongoing or recurring problems. Review its startup and agreement options before choosing; it is not a required follow-on purchase.

Does exposed rock rule out service?

Describe the accessible maintained ground and fresh activity. Rock elsewhere on a lot does not tell us the service scope or justify excavation.

Do you change historic landscaping to reach moles?

We start by discussing access and placement around the existing landscape. Building, drainage and retaining-wall alterations are separate work.

Can a city map show whether I need Mole Dominator?

No. Maps can help describe terrain and boundaries. The choice between current-problem service and ongoing protection depends on your property history and needs.
